You know, the kind you get when you have to leave your girl to whom you've been stuck to like glue for weeks soaking up even her red blood cells you're so close and now it's being taken away in slow motion and you're waiting for your heart and head to catch on to what has actually happened. You know, that kind?
Yes. That kind. I am thankful for the body's defense against too much trauma, my head is in slow motion even days later. In the meantime, it should be said that we had an extraordinary time together and that being there was actually a journey in and of itself for our relationship. It was really special in that this is the first time I've seen her since becoming a free woman (divorced from the Ex-H) and completely without worry or distraction. It all feels like so much to talk about that I'm not sure where to begin. Another part of me is just being plain selfish and hoarding all these memories to herself.
I was actually stuck to her like glue, you know, glue she stuck herself. She even insisted we take showers together, all four hundred showers we would take in a day were together (it's hot there and I think she's a little OC). We went out about half the evenings I was there, and I actually drank.
If you know me, you know I have issues with any intoxicant (yes I call them intoxicants!) in my system. This time around I decided to just let go and try it a little (or five times). I actually got tipsy and slightly dis coordinated from...a Smirnoff Ice, and only one! Hey, in my defense my body was completely pure (vegs no need to debate this) before this time, so it was naturally more sensitive to side effects of intoxicants. Lol. It was pretty funny and Kay totally laughed at me, which of course had me laughing at myself...a lot. The bar was just a block from her house and she had to support me a little on the way home, even offering a cab. It wasn't that bad, but we were all tired too and it was drizzling. So I walked home like a drunk being held up in the rain. Once home was where the laughing began in earnest...that is until we began what turned out to be a crazy intense and long love session. Yeah...who's laughing now!
Unfortunately that led to being offered- forced!- to have a drink every time we went out. Guess she liked the side effects a lot.
I did too lol. Too bad I don't remember a lot of it.
I'm kidding lol.
Well, more things will come to me and I'll write about them later.

yes more details! sounds like you had a great time!!
ReplyDeleteMelissa, to say I had an awesome time would be an understatement. Just being able to soak her up with my eyes was exciting for me, lol. I realized and came to love so many other things about her, and she's more beautiful than ever to me! Lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of details are we talking about here? Lol. I think the exH has found my blog so I'm refraining from too much detail.
well i meant gooood details. lol and what?! that sucks he found it?!? how? are you sure?
ReplyDeleteMelissaaaa! I'm no prude but I sure am a bit shy, lol. I'd actually love to write about the good stuff and the side effects of a wine cooler lol.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm pretty sure he did because he casually mentioned that I've been drinking alcohol a day or so after the blog and there's no other way he could have known that, unless he was just throwing that out there to see my reaction.
