1. Where did you begin 2008?
In my room on my laptop, shopping like mad because one of my investments just paid off quite well. :-)
2. What was your status by Valentine’s Day?
Umm...
3. Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Unfortunately no!
4. Did you have to go to the hospital?
I did. I woke up to go to the bathroom while at Kay's house, and promptly passed out. Spent three days in the hospital for things I've been immunized for.
5. Did you have any encounters with the police?
Nothing I couldn't pay my way out of...
6. Where did you go on vacation?
Another city in this country...it was beautiful!
7. What did you purchase that was over $500?
Say what?
8. Did you know anybody who got married?
My husband got married, and it wasn't to me. Lol.
9. Did you know anybody who passed away?
Some distant in laws...
10. Did you move anywhere?
Yes, to Africa. Stepping into this strange land and immediately felt at home.

None. I’m not exactly a sports fan.
12. What concerts/shows did you go to?
Hmm, I don’t think I saw any.
13. Where do you live now?
Africa, although I'm planning to change that by this summer even though I've fallen in love with this particular country.
14. What’s the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2008?
Hmm, lol.
15. What has/have been your favorite moment(s)?
Almost too many to recount. Most have to do with moments with the children, or Kay.
16. What’s something you learned about yourself?
I love women more than I'd anticipated.
17. Any new additions to your family?
A wife and girlfriend!

Hands down August.
19. What music will you remember 2008 by?
I love music, but this is a hard one to pin down.

Yes I have! Both online and in person.

Erm...

Of course.
23. What do you want to change in 2009?
Living life on my own terms with those who love and accept me for who I am.

The cessation of suppressing myself (if only inwardly) alone warrants a 10.
25. What would you change about 2008?
No need to even go there.
26. Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?
Online. If that doesn't count as a place, then shopping.

I began defining myself as lesbian and stopped suppressing myself on some level.

Nope, same cornrows with many variations in style and design, some new!

Nope, just a different title...Madame.
30. Do you have a New Year’s resolution?
I do not.
31. Did you do anything embarrassing?
Moi? Naaah.

Nope.
33. What was/were your favorite purchase[s]?
Ebay aside, some cute female polo shirts.

Wish I'd gotten divorced.

Nope. See number 5. :-)

I think I saw one of those The Good, Bad and Ugly episodes.

Blogging amongst others.

It's been a topsy turvy year, but I'm ready for the promise a new year brings.

Never have. I'm too frugal (not to be equated with cheap!).

Lots of positive change, strength, courage...anything good!
