Alright, if you haven't guessed yet...she came to see me! I feel I will jinx how smoothly it went with saying anything more. (Humming abc's... You know how your body feels after swimming for awhile, after getting out...as if you're still in the water moving with the waves and you almost want to sway with that feeling? My tongue totally felt like that until a few hours ago.
I got a tooth extracted today. It was a surprise. My plan was to rest today, but my driver had found some dental clinics I might be interested in so I went to check them out. Wasn't expecting to get seen and treated the very same...hour. I was weary about getting such invasive medical care here and looked around at a couple clinics. If I didn't like the look of the reception or the attitude of their staff, I simply thanked them and walked out.
The one I finally received care at was nice looking and not too far from home. The receptionist greeted me at the door and walked me into the reception area. I registered with them which took all of three minutes and got seen in the next ten minutes...if it was even that long. The service was great and the dentist was attentive and competent as were his two assistants. The equipment was on par with what I'd expect in the US and other small details like wall finishing, floor tiles and things like that were well maintained. I know it might not seem important but it told me that they didn't skimp on taking care of their practice. I especially liked that he explained everything as it was happening.
I managed a few hours ago to slurp some custard while wiping my mouth since half of it was still numb...which meant uncontrolled drooling..ew! Normally I'd change into some loose linen trousers and a tank top upon getting home, but I stayed fully dressed because I was not about to address my cook looking homely with the whole drooling, slight slurring thing going on. Hahaha.
